The Overwatch Season 4 Launch patch notes kick off Reign of Talon Season 4: Heroes of Busan — the Junkers and Talon descend on Busan as new Tank hero D.Mon joins the roster alongside reworked Busan, Paraíso and Eichenwalde maps and a revamped Battle Pass. Weapons
- D.Mon — new Tank hero added: Plasma Saber melee weapon, Power Barrier with Surging Strike, Propulsors for repositioning, Fusion Repeater, Limit Break ultimate (sweeping slash granting self overhealth and amplifying damage taken by enemies) active
- Doomfist — Energy Javelin knockback increased 25%, wall impact damage +15, Ultimate cost reduced 6% buff
- Cassidy — Combat Roll now grants a 60% movement speed boost that decays over 1.5 seconds buff
- Lúcio — healing increased 30 → 35 buff
- D.Va — Panopticon barrier health 450 → 500, Seismic Slam damage 50 → 60 buff
- D.Va — Ultimate cost increased 7% nerf

- Busan, Paraíso and Eichenwalde reworked with new routes and layout changes active
Mechanics
- Emerald rank added — new competitive tier between Platinum and Diamond, with rank redistribution moving players from those tiers into it active
- Battle Pass revamped for a more flexible progression experience active
