Y11S3 — September 1, 202612 changes
The Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3 patch notes launch Operation Split Fire, headlined by Noor — a new Defender built to break the shield meta — alongside a full Dokkaebi rework and a permanent Villa map change. Weapon balance swings hard against the SMG-12 while Kali and Kapkan pick up buffs, and a new Legend Division opens for Champion-rank climbers. Track the live Rainbow Six Siege season countdown through the new season.
TL;DR — 12 changes: 3 buffs, 2 nerfs. Biggest buff: Kali’s CSRX 300 pump time drops to 0.8s (from 1s) with a bigger magazine. Biggest nerf: the SMG-12’s damage falls from 28 to 16 and its magazine shrinks to 22. Meta impact: the SMG-12 spam meta collapses while Kali and Kapkan pick up the slack, and Dokkaebi’s Jegeo Payload trades constant pressure for a punishable, interruptible upload.
Weapons
- SMG-12 — damage reduced to 16 (from 28) and magazine capacity cut to 22 (from 32) nerf
- Kali — CSRX 300 pump time reduced to 0.8s (from 1s), magazine capacity increased, and scope magnification lowered (Default 3.5x from 5x, Long 8x from 12x) for faster follow-up shots buff
- Kapkan — Entry Torrent Trap damage increased to 62 HP (from 60) buff
- Echo — Yokai’s Sonic Burst recharge time reduced to 15s (from 16s) buff
Map
- Villa — the Living Room/Library bombsite moves to the basement and the garage becomes an interior space, reshaping east-side attacker approaches and defensive rotations active
Mechanics
- Dokkaebi — Jegeo Payload now requires an uninterrupted upload to complete (Impact EMP Grenades replaced by Breach Charges); IQ can detect the targeted phone and Solis can spot the tablet mid-upload, giving Defenders real counterplay nerf
- Legend Division — a new ranked playlist opens mid-season for players who reach Champion rank, sitting above the existing ranked ladder active
Events & Limited Time
- 3v3 Arcade — limited-time mode with 7-round matches (first to 4), a 30-second Preparation Phase, no Operator bans, and Operator attrition once a round is won with one event
- Wasteland Circuit — new in-game event running alongside the season’s drone-racing content event
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a crash when both 3v3 Arcade teams pick the same Operators and a match finishes active
- Fixed Operator Guide images failing to load when navigating with keyboard arrows active
- Fixed AI training bots trying to break Azami’s Kiba Barriers instead of navigating around them active
