Season 06 carries The Haunting, the annual Halloween event, across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame and Warzone, with a DOOM crossover on top.
Quantum is a new 6v6 map set in a Guild quantum-computing facility buried in Arctic ice. Bloodstead returns as a Haunting retheme, its water turned to blood and zombies lurking at the edges. T.E.D.D. Trials pulls three Zombies maps into Multiplayer: teams fight each other with the Ray Gun while cycling through a random set of five trials.
Zombies adds Tenshu, a Survival map inside the Masaki family's ancestral castle where samurai, Hellhounds and Oni close in, plus Directed Mode for Rex Infernus and expanded Rogue Run playlists. Endgame gets the Forbidden Summoning event in Avalon. In Warzone, Haunted Hollow rethemes the Resurgence map with a roaming Ghost Train loot source, collectible pumpkins and the 64-player Giant Infected mode.
The 1,000 COD Point Battle Pass is led by the Blackjack Operator, with 100+ rewards and up to 1,100 COD Points to earn back. Four base weapons arrive this season: the TR51 Para assault rifle and VMP SMG, the Arcblade melee weapon (free through the Camo Costume Party event) and the Roc 20mm special.
The separate DOOM Event Pass has a free track and a paid track, and the paid track unlocks the Doom Slayer Operator.
With Modern Warfare 4 next in line, there is more riding on this deadline than usual.
Items you have not unlocked when Season 06 closes stay locked. Anything you do earn stays in Black Ops 7, but weapon levels, blueprints, camos and Operators do not carry into Modern Warfare 4 multiplayer.
5 wins earns the Pro Re-Issue M15 Mod 0 blueprint and 50 wins a Season 06 large decal. Reaching each division from Silver to Iridescent adds a calling card and weapon camo. Season 06 also introduced SR penalties weighted by scoreboard placement and opponent rank, so padding wins late gets harder.
The Haunting, the DOOM Event Pass and the Camo Costume Party are time-limited. Unlock the Arcblade and any Doom Slayer rewards while those events are live.
Unspent COD Points and Double XP tokens carry forward to Modern Warfare 4 on the same account and platform, so there is no need to burn them before the switch.
Season 06 is Black Ops 7's last season, so there is no Season 07 to wait for. The next step is Modern Warfare 4, launching October 23, 2026. Its Season 1 is reported for November 6, 2026 (Insider Gaming and Gfinity, citing Activision's launch roadmap; not yet confirmed on callofduty.com), and Warzone is expected to move onto Modern Warfare 4 content and progression from that season.
