When Does Valorant Season 2026 Act 6 End?
Valorant Season 2026 Act 6 is live. It started with patch 13.08 on October 13, 2026 in the Americas and October 14 in Europe and Asia. Riot has not confirmed the Act 6 end date yet, so the countdown above tracks an estimate and syncs to the in-game Battle Pass timer once Riot sets it.
Act 6 is the last act of Season 2026, and Riot stretches the year-end act to bridge into the new calendar: Season 2025 Act 6 ran from October 15, 2025 to January 7, 2026. Press reports point to the same pattern this year, with Act 6 expected to close in early January 2027 when Season 2027 begins. Treat that as an estimate until Riot confirms it.
What's New in Season 2026 Act 6
Act 6 opened with patch 13.08, which reshapes the competitive map pool and adds a new way to measure how you play each map.
Bind and Corrode In, Ascent and Split Out
Bind returns unchanged and Corrode comes back reworked in both the Competitive and Deathmatch queues, while Ascent and Split rotate out. On Corrode, defenders get shorter rotation paths toward both sites and the Mid half wall is now metal and moved out by one meter to cut wall penetration.
Map Rating
Map Rating gives every map a private score from 0 to 500 with a letter grade from C to S, built from your overall, attack and defense win rates on that map plus your Performance Score. It only counts Competitive and Premier matches, and it is not retroactive: everyone starts fresh in Act 6.
Performance Score and Integrity
Performance Score, added in patch 13.06, now weights damage, adjusted kills and adjusted deaths more heavily, with specific tuning for Chamber. Riot also reported more than 171,000 bans for cheating across Act 5.
Before Season 2026 Act 6 Ends: What to Finish
Valorant resets two things at every act boundary, and the year-end boundary adds a bigger ranked step.
Finish the Battle Pass
The Act 6 Battle Pass costs 1,000 VP and stops progressing when the act closes; its tiers cannot be bought or earned afterwards. The in-game Battle Pass screen shows the exact time left, so plan weekly missions around the chapters you still need.
Lock In Your Act Rank
Your Act Rank comes from your highest ranked win during the act, not from the rank you hold on the final day, and you need at least 9 competitive wins in the act to earn the badge. The first act of a new year asks for five placement matches instead of one, so the January rollover is a larger reset than the one that opened Act 6.
Store Items
Store bundles are not Battle Pass rewards, and Riot does not guarantee when they return. Treat any Act 6 bundle as available only while it sits in the shop.
What Comes Next After Season 2026 Act 6
Season 2027 Act 1 is unannounced. Riot has not published its name, date or patch number. It would open Season 2027, and Riot normally confirms a new act through the in-game Battle Pass timer and the patch notes on playvalorant.com around the day the act patch deploys.
