The Venomous Abyss Raid
The season raid has eight bosses inside the Vault of Atal'Utek, ending with Ula'tek, the venom-soaked horror Zul'jan set loose. Normal, Heroic and Mythic were all open from the first reset of Midnight Season 2.
The Mythic+ Rotation
The new Altar of Fangs, a three-boss dungeon that was Mythic 0 only during the patch's first week, leads a Midnight Season 2 pool of eight:

Delves, Lairs and the Coiled Isle

On the Coiled Isle itself, the optional Curse of the Isle challenge makes the zone more dangerous for players hunting Prey.

Gear you earn in Midnight Season 2 stays in your bags, but several seasonal feats of strength and rewards can only be earned while the season is live.
Mythic+ Rating Mounts
Midnight Keystone Master: Season 2 needs a Mythic+ rating of 2,000 and awards the Breath of Blight wind serpent; Keystone Legend needs 3,000 and awards Breath of Ruin. Both become unobtainable when the season closes, and your rating starts again at zero in the next pool.
Cutting Edge on Mythic Ula'tek
Defeating Ula'tek on Mythic before the next raid tier opens earns Cutting Edge. Once the next season starts, the achievement is gone for good.
PvP and Delve Rewards
Rated PvP titles, Elite gear appearances and the Gladiator mount are tied to the current PvP season, and Conquest progress does not carry over. The seasonal Delve rewards from Azta'rec, including a time-limited mount on the hardest difficulty, also end with Midnight Season 2.
What Comes Next After Midnight Season 2
Blizzard revealed Patch 12.2: Eclipse at BlizzCon 2026. It is the final major Midnight update: players pursue Xal'atath through the Mantle Vault to the Worldcore raid, a new three-boss dungeon called Thraegar's Stand arrives, and a legendary caster dagger returns. Season 3 follows shortly after the patch, with a Mythic+ pool that includes Magisters' Terrace, Maisara Caverns, The Underrot, Iron Docks, Sanguine Depths, The Stonecore and Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr.
