Blood Hunt is the season For Honor's ranked modes finally went live, and it carries the Cycle of War story further into Ashfeld.
The Keeper of Chains
Guljin sends the Keeper of Chains into a desolate corner of Ashfeld, ruled by a mysterious warrior who governs through combat and bloodshed, to capture a fighter for her arena. He arrives as a new Conqueror Hero Skin. His backstory ties him to Guljin's regime: a solitary warrior once imprisoned in a dark cell, released by Guljin herself after she took control of Heathmoor.
Ranked Dominion and Ranked Duel
Ranked Dominion launched with Blood Hunt and Ranked Duel left beta to become a permanent mode. Both use divisions from Bronze to Grandmaster, and the first ranked season, Season 0, began on September 10, 2026.
Battle Pass and Halloween Events
The Blood Hunt Battle Pass has 100 tiers covering all 39 heroes, with weapons inspired by scales, blood and dragons, effects, customization items and 12.5K Steel. Together with this season's Y6S3 Legacy Pass, up to 200 tiers are available. Two Halloween throwback events run during October:
- Return of the Otherworld with Endless March: October 1 to October 15
- Fangs of the Otherworld with Spooky Slasher: October 15 to October 22
Before Blood Hunt Ends: What to Finish
Blood Hunt has more to lock in than a typical For Honor season because ranked rewards are new.
Ranked Season 0 Rewards
Reaching Gold earns a full armor set and Diamond earns a weapon, both for this season's featured hero, the Warden. Ornaments are awarded for the highest rank reached, from Gold through Platinum, Diamond, Master and Grandmaster, and differ between Dominion and Duel. You must play at least 5 ranked matches in a mode to claim that mode's rewards; reaching Gold or Diamond in both modes gives double parts.
Battle Pass and Legacy Pass
Tier progress stops when Blood Hunt ends. The Y6S3 Legacy Pass also rotates out: Ubisoft replaces the Legacy Pass each season, so this one cannot be progressed after the next season begins. Older passes have returned as Legacy Passes in the past, but Ubisoft gives no schedule for any specific pass.
Halloween Leaderboards
Each Halloween event has three maps and its own leaderboard, and the fastest climb comes from killing skeletons and demons. The throwback weapons from earlier Halloween events are only available while each event runs.
What Comes Next After Blood Hunt
Year 10 Season 4 has not been named or dated. The Year 10 roadmap confirms it will add a new Knight hero and a converted map to the Dominion pool. Ubisoft normally reveals a season in a Warrior's Den livestream shortly before launch, then publishes a recap and the patch notes on the For Honor news page on launch day.
