What's New in Season 43
Update 43.1 changes how fights play out as much as what they look like.
New combat actions
Players can now kick, throw items and shoot from the water. Character hitboxes were expanded and fine-tuned, with larger hitboxes on console for more forgiving hit registration; ADS transition time went up and recoil control tied to firing position was reduced.
JUJUTSU KAISEN and Arcade
A JUJUTSU KAISEN collaboration adds themed spaces and visuals to selected parts of Erangel, and Solo Deathmatch returns under Play, Arcade.
Ranked Season 43
The tier reward is a permanent Mk14 Ranked weapon skin. Gold and higher now demand stronger performance in Solo and Duo Ranked, and Archivist's Chests on the Ranked Play Point track were replaced by Contender Cargo Tickets. A new leaderboard system under Career ranks players by victories, weapon kills and Clan XP, showing the top 500 and a percentile for everyone else.
Before Season 43 Ends: What to Finish
Ranked parachute skins, weapon skins such as the Mk14 and medals are permanent once earned; other Ranked rewards only work during the season they came from. Ranks reset when the next ranked season starts, so reach your target tier, and cash in Contender Cargo Tickets from the Play Point track, while Season 43 runs.
