More from Teamfight Tactics

Teamfight Tactics Set 18: Enchanted Wilds is estimated to end around December 1, 2026 (verified October 18, 2026). Set 18: Enchanted Wilds is the first Teamfight Tactics set built on Unreal Engine, after years on the shared Hextech engine and a four-week PBE preview. Its signature mechanic is Wisps, single-use shop denizens that hand out combat, economy, item or high-risk boons, and it arrives with new traits such as Blossom and Coven and 5-cost units including Ivern and Draven. Riot does not announce a set's end until it names the launch patch for the next one; recent sets have run about 18 to 19 weeks, so the countdown above projects from that rhythm until the Set 19 patch is scheduled.

When does TFT Set 18: Enchanted Wilds end?

Set 18: Enchanted Wilds went live on August 26, 2026 with patch 18.1. Riot has not confirmed the set's final day, but it has said Set 19 launches shortly before the TFT Vegas Open (December 11-13, 2026), and the published 2026 patch schedule lists patch 19.1, the Set 19 launch patch, for December 1, 2026.

Patch dates can still move, so the countdown above tracks December 1 as an estimate and switches to the confirmed time once Riot publishes the 19.1 patch notes.

What's New in Enchanted Wilds

Enchanted Wilds arrived with patch 18.1 on August 26, 2026. It is the first TFT set running on Unreal Engine instead of the Hextech engine TFT had shared with League of Legends. Most of that change is under the hood, but it is the base the rest of the set sits on.

Wisps

The set mechanic is Wisps, single-use visitors that take the rightmost slot in every other shop during the planning phase. Only one can be bought per round, and they come in seven categories: Champion, Combat, Misc, Shop, Gold/XP, Risky and Item. A Wisp left unbought is whisked away when the phase ends, revealing the unit hidden behind it, and after Stage 5 every other Wisp is guaranteed to be a Combat Wisp.

Traits, champions and the Carousel

The roster has 65 champions. Among the new traits, Blossom upgrades every Wisp shown, Elderwood grows placeable forest plants, Riftbeast recruits jungle monsters such as Gromp, Krug and Murkwolf and tops out with the two-slot Elder Dragon, and Solar and Lunar combine to unlock a hidden Eclipse bonus; Coven and Sprykin round out the new names. Five-cost units include Ivern, carrying the Greenfather trait, and Draven, a Bounty Seeker. The shared Carousel is back too, now with a chance to offer more champions or higher-cost ones.

The Enchanted Wilds pass

The free Enchanted Wilds: Part I pass went live with the set, and Pass+ costs 1,295 RP. Its rewards include Treasure Tokens, Star Shards and Realm Crystals, two booms, and Little Legends such as the Watermelon Pufferfin and the Mushroom Sprite.

Before Enchanted Wilds Ends: What to Finish

A new set resets far more in TFT than a patch does. These are the things tied to Enchanted Wilds specifically.

Ranked reward

The ranked ladder resets when Set 19 goes live. Reaching Gold or higher in either Standard or Double Up during Enchanted Wilds earns the Victorious Lumie Tactician, so a player sitting in Silver has until the set closes to make the climb. Double Up counts on its own, which gives duo players a second route to the same reward.

Pass progress

Pass rewards are earned by completing missions while the pass is active. Anything not unlocked by the time a pass closes is gone, so it pays to check how many levels remain rather than assume the final stretch of the set leaves enough time.

Treasure Tokens can wait

Riot's Treasure Realms do not put an expiry on Treasure Tokens. Unspent tokens stay on the account for future bounties, so there is no reason to spend them on a banner just because the set is winding down.

Learn the set while it lasts

Wisps, Eclipse and the Enchanted Wilds trait web leave the game with the set. Anyone chasing a set-specific goal, such as a hyper roll strategy built around Risky Wisps, has a fixed window to do it.

What Comes Next After Enchanted Wilds

Set 19 has no official name or launch patch yet. Riot's 2026 roadmap described it as a music-themed winter set, billed as TFT's biggest musical event so far, with ideas such as units and arenas moving to the beat of the soundtrack. Riot usually reveals a new set a few weeks ahead of launch, opens it on the PBE for testing, and fixes the date through its published patch schedule. Earlier sets are listed in every TFT set.
