Nightwave Mix: Amir's Shockwave arrived on August 12, 2026 with Update 43.5. Amir Beckett of The Hex takes over the Nightwave broadcast with a remixed Mix of new and returning rewards, and Digital Extremes paired it with a separate story adventure for the same crew.
The reward track
The track has 30 ranks, then 150 more that pay out extra Cred after rank 30. Rank 6 holds the Globakk Syandana; the Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia and Teisatz Oculus are also on the track. Duplicate protection swaps any tier reward you already own, and the update changed how Acts work to make them less of a checklist.
A bigger Cred shop
The currency is Amir's Shockwave Cred. The Cred Offerings store now adds the Nightwave Landing Craft blueprint and parts, keeps every Aura mod and the Nightwave weapon blueprints in rotation for good, and carries augment mods such as Vile Discharge, Sentient Surge, Leaded Gas and Biotic Rounds.
Fables & Frontiers: Running Late
This KIM narrative adventure is a permanent addition, not part of the Nightwave track. To unlock it, finish The Hex quest, reach rank 5 with The Hex Syndicate and reach "Close" KIM chemistry with Amir. Its rewards, including an Atomicycle Key Sugatra and Fables & Frontiers Glyphs, are bought from Amir in a new area of the Höllvania Central Mall with Hex Standing.
Before Amir's Shockwave Ends: What to Finish
Nightwave is free, so nothing you paid for expires. What closes with Amir's Shockwave is its own track and its own currency.
- Rank rewards: tier rewards you have not reached by the end cannot be earned later. Daily, weekly and elite weekly Acts are the only source of standing, so a missed week costs more than a missed day.
- Amir's Shockwave Cred: each Nightwave has its own Cred, and it stops being usable when the series ends. Spend it on Aura mods, augments or the Landing Craft parts first. Leftover Cred can be sold from your inventory for Credits.
- Not on the clock: Fables & Frontiers: Running Late and its Hex Standing rewards are permanent, so they can wait until after the Nightwave closes.
What Comes Next After Amir's Shockwave
Digital Extremes has not announced what replaces Amir's Shockwave or when. The Iceblade of Narin update (Update 44) went live on September 23, 2026 with Narin and the Banshee rework and did not bring a new Nightwave.
