HoYoverse (Cognosphere) confirmed the end of the last 2 Honkai: Star Rail seasons we tracked with 6 and 4 days' notice (newest first), measured from our daily record of this page. If this season follows that pattern, the official date should appear around November 1, 2026. How accurate our estimates are.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6: Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise is estimated to end around November 6, 2026, based on its 40-day season cadence (verified October 16, 2026). Version 4.6: Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise went live on September 28, 2026 (September 27 at 5:00 PM on the Americas server), picking up the Astropolis story after Nihilux reveals herself as Aha, the Aeon of Elation. The headline arrival is Pearl, a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation, who joins the Trailblazer to reach the Life Sciences Institute deep inside Astropolis. The version also brings a Zenless Zone Zero crossover and character reruns across its two banner phases. The Nameless Honor pass costs $9.99 for Nameless Glory or $19.99 for Nameless Medal, with a free track open to every player. HoYoverse has not yet dated Version 4.7, so the end date above is estimated from the game's roughly six-week version cadence.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6: "Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise" launched September 28, 2026 (September 27 at 5:00 PM on the Americas server), continuing the Astropolis story arc. HoYoverse has not confirmed an end date, which becomes firm only when the next version's date is announced during its Special Program.
Based on Honkai: Star Rail's roughly six-week version cadence, Version 4.6 is estimated to end in early-to-mid November 2026; Pearl's banner is scheduled to run through November 10, 2026, which usually marks a version's close. The countdown above tracks that estimate until HoYoverse confirms the reset.
Version 4.6: "Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise" picks up immediately after the Astropolis summer arc: Nihilux reveals herself as Aha, the Aeon of Elation, and the Trailblazer heads to the Life Sciences Institute deep inside Astropolis to uncover a scheme to weaponize the husk.
Pearl, Planarcadia's CEO, arrives as a new 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation. Her banner runs across the version, with featured 4-stars and character reruns filling out each phase.
Version 4.6 adds a Zenless Zone Zero crossover event, bringing HoYoverse's action title into the Astral Express's world for a limited-time collaboration, alongside a Razer hardware collaboration announced with the version.
The version's Nameless Honor pass returns, with rewards that include Star Rail Passes, Self-Modeling Resin and Tracks of Destiny, alongside Version 4.6's limited-time events and login rewards.
Nothing on your account resets between versions. What ends with Version 4.6 are its limited banners, events and pass.
The next version, Version 4.7, has not been dated. HoYoverse announces each version through a Special Program livestream shortly before launch, then posts the maintenance notice on HoYoLAB. Leaks point to characters such as Ellen and Astra Yao arriving in a later version, but nothing beyond Version 4.6 is officially confirmed yet.
Recent versions have run close to a six-week cadence: Version 4.5: To Roll the Stars in Astropolis (August 26 to September 28, 2026, a shortened 33-day cycle), Version 4.4: In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound (July 14 to August 25, 2026, 42 days), Version 4.3: The Lethe Below the Living (May 31 to July 14, 2026, 44 days), and Version 4.2: So Laughed the Masses (April 21 to May 31, 2026, 40 days).
The cadence carries some jitter rather than landing on a strict 42 days every time, which is why each end date is only firm once HoYoverse announces the next version.
