Season 24 takes Rocket League underground with a street-racing theme, a new way to settle a grudge, and three Limited Time Events in its opening weeks.
Honor Duel lets you challenge another player from your match to a 1v1. If they accept, you both drop into a duel of the same mode as soon as the current match ends, and everyone else from the lobby can stay to spectate.
The Black Market Trade-In takes three duplicate Black Market items and returns one you do not own yet, either a new item or a painted version missing from your collection. Season 24 also adds customizable scoreboards, updated mouse and keyboard controls, and an end-of-match podium that plays the MVP's Goal Explosion in the open net behind the team.
The Premium Rocket Pass costs 1,000 Credits. Its three new Car Bodies are the Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 (Octane hitbox), the Dominus GT 76 (Dominus hitbox) and the Pareto 5S (Breakout hitbox), alongside new Wheels, Boosts and Decals.

Tiers you have not reached when the season ends cannot be earned later, and progress does not carry into the next pass. Challenges add XP on top of what matches give, so clear them steadily rather than leaving them for the final week.
Season Rewards are earned in groups of 10 wins in competitive playlists: every 10 wins at or above a rank tier unlocks that tier's reward level. Once a level is unlocked it is yours for Season 24 even if you later drop rank, and the items are handed out at the start of the following season. Players who finish in the Top 100 of the 3v3, 2v2 or 1v1 leaderboards also receive a Season 24 title based on final placement.
Bullet Ball and the Persona 5 event close on their own dates early in the season. Run It Up is the longer challenge event; finish its 14 challenges before Season 24 wraps up.
Season 25 has not been announced. Psyonix has not shared a name, theme or start date. It usually reveals a new season about a week before launch with a blog post and trailer on rocketleague.com, and then publishes patch notes on launch day, when the new Rocket Pass unlocks and competitive rewards from the old season are handed out. At the end of every Rocket League season, your competitive MMR is not wiped; it is soft-reset, meaning your rating is pulled toward the middle of the ranked distribution. High-ranked players (Grand Champion and above) see the largest drops; lower-ranked players barely move. You then play placement matches to re-establish your displayed rank. End-of-season rewards, including exclusive Champion titles, are based on the highest rank you achieved at any point in the season.
Season rewards use the peak rank you reached during the season, not your rank when it closes, and you need to finish your placement matches (usually 10 per playlist) to qualify. At the rollover Psyonix takes matchmaking down for a short maintenance window, and the new season goes live with an MMR soft reset toward the middle of the ladder.
