What's New in Season 12: PRIME TIME
Embark called PRIME TIME the biggest step for The Finals since launch, and the 12.0.0 patch notes back that up with a new playstyle, a new mode and a rebuilt arena experience.
The Infiltrator Light playstyle
The Infiltrator is a new Light playstyle built around detection, disguise and repositioning. True Sight reworks Thermal Vision: it highlights enemies and deployables, reveals disguised or cloaked players and sees through smoke, while draining an energy meter. The Mimic Device lets you disguise yourself, and the Translocator marks an object and swaps your position with it on demand.
Solo Showdown
Solo Showdown is the game's first mode with no teams: a 12-player tournament in beta where the four lowest cash earners are eliminated between rounds and the highest earner in the final wins. Embark says a leaderboard for it is planned shortly after launch.
Destruction, arenas and presentation
PRIME TIME rebuilds the destruction system for more nuanced damage, reworks classic arenas including Monaco, Seoul and Skyway Stadium with new lighting, materials, sightlines and traversal routes, and adds dynamic commentary. A new Battle Pass launches alongside the season.

Battle Pass
Battle Pass pages and rewards you have not claimed go with the season. If you own the Premium pass, the Multibucks it pays out are only collected by progressing through it, so finish the pages that contain them before the close.
Ranked rewards
Ranked rewards are based on the league you reach during the season and are delivered after it closes. Ruby is reserved for the top 500 in Ranked Cashout and is decided by your position when the season ends, so a Ruby player has to hold the spot to the final day.
