The Academia Collection
The pass is headlined by a new Collection, Academia, plus two additions to the Community Collection, spread across the Rift's cosmetic reward tiers.
Free and Premium tracks
Every player progresses the Free Track, which is mostly Bloodpoints with some Iridescent Shards and cosmetics. The Premium Track costs 1,000 Auric Cells and holds most of the outfits, with Auric Cell rewards scattered through it that return the full 1,000 if you finish the pass.
An October of Horror
The Rift arrives at the start of Dead by Daylight's Halloween month, with the Haunted by Daylight event and the Terrifier Chapter featuring Art the Clown, whose Public Test Build starts October 27.
Before Academia Ends: What to Finish
Rift tiers
Each tier costs 100 Rift Fragments. Fragments come from the experience you earn in Trials and from challenges, so steady play and challenge completion are the main levers. Tiers still locked when the Rift closes are gone, and Rift outfits are not re-added to the store.
The Auric Cell refund
The 1,000 Auric Cells come back only if you finish the Premium Track. If you are a few tiers short near the end, tiers can be bought with Auric Cells; weigh that against the Cells you would get back.
What does not reset
Your Grade is separate from the Rift: Dead by Daylight resets Grades monthly on the 13th, not when a Rift Pass changes over. Bloodpoints, Perks and characters carry across passes untouched.
